Deciding to sell your house
is not an easy task trying to sell it is not either.
An
untrained Salesperson will find the
selling process as difficult as you will, the main difference will be the
Salesperson knows where to turn for answers while you don't.
Did you know that in large centres
there are, at any giving time, approximately one Real Estate Agent for every
25 families???
Staggering!!! Reasons:they
all think it is an easy business, it is
an easy business and very lucrative if you know what you
are doing...
Did you know that 2/3 of For Sale by Owner
will List their property with an agent within 4-6 weeks???
Yes... that is
correct most of FSBO will list their property because they are frustrated
with the process... it looks easy but it is not... and unless you get lucky
you must understand the process to be successful in selling
it yourself.
Most private
sellers price their house to high and 1/3 too low (those are the ones they
sold but lost money in the process) ... the result is the Real Estate
Industry loves you:
Your house is overpriced and will help
them sell their Listing.
Your house will not sell and you will need
a real estate salesperson's services.
You undersold and it will help them low ball their next
listing
I don't have anything against Real Estate Agents, I am
one, but in the spirit of a free market I recognize that there is a good
market of For Sale By Owner which needs the tools to do the right job.
Only to understand on
how to price your property the book is worth ten fold... ...and how about the
negotiation process, 50% of all dealings fail because of misunderstanding
while a good percentage of those that are successful get sued, and loose, because they
misrepresent their properties...
